WCI Story
Mark Webber, co-founder of
Webber Consulting, received a Bachelor of Science
degree in Computer Applications Management from the
University of Portland in 1992. Since 1993, Mark has
provided computer related services for residents and
small businesses, empowering individuals to be
productive while using their computer. Mark
freelanced while he maintained a full-time job until
December 2000. It was then that Mark founded Webber Consulting, Inc. with
hopes of servicing the small community of Canby and the
surrounding Portland Metro area.
It is our vision to be the first
contact for any technology needs, whether it is a
business/home/wireless network, virus or spyware
infected computer, website design, custom database
or spreadsheet solutions, or a simple question about
hoe to use a piece of software. We are
optimistic that with our services close at hand,
technologically you or your business will never be
left behind. Webber Consulting has over 35
combined years of computer experience and three
Microsoft Certified Professionals. We intend
to ensure that our skills and experience are
unmatched.
Webber Consulting continually gives
back to its community and schools. Mark donates several hours to the Canby Area Chamber of
Commerce, knowing that the
future of business in Canby begins with each of us.
He has served on the Board of the Canby Chamber from
2002 to present day, recently in 2008 as the President. As
validation to this level of community involvement Webber
Consulting received an award in April 2005; Community
Involvement Award presented by the Canby Livability
Coalition in recognition of our outstanding community
involvement and commitment to enhancing the livability
of Canby.
In the summer of 2004, the demand
for our services grew and as a result Mark's brother, David Webber
chose to venture with Webber Consulting.
The addition of David has proved very promising,
allowing Webber Consulting to continue its vision.
As a result of the high demand for our services, Webber Consulting moved
to its now permanent home, 190 N Douglas Street.
In the spring of 2007, the
hiring of Brad Anderson diversified our team
even more. Brad comes to us with a
multi-skilled background in the technology world after working 6 years for a
major computer retail store as a lead technician.
Alongside our technicians and our inner-office team,
we've been privileged to have had several interns
and Canby High School students work beside us to
enhance their skills and provide them with the
knowledge to build their career in the fields they
are most interested in. Joining the WCI team
mostly recently is our new Office Assistant, Adah
Kraxberger. Adah manages the
schedules for our technicians as well as other inner
office needs for WCI. The WCI team works
together to make sure the very best services
